The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) and decision record (DR) for the Stewart Point 7-28 environmental assessment (EA).

The DR allows QEP Energy to construct the Stewart Point 7-28 well pad and drill two natural gas delineation wells this summer in T. 33 N., R. 109 W., Sec. 28, approximately four miles south of Pinedale, Wyo. in the Stewart Point area of the Pinedale Anticline Project Area. Construction activities, drilling or completion operations will not be conducted during the winter mule deer seasonal restriction period.
