Upper Green Scenery Trails are wet and muddy and there is still a lot of snow in the high country. Scraggly Elk

Dave Bell took a hike near Green River Lakes towards Roaring Fork Valley in the Upper Green recently. He got photos of wildflowers in bloom, elk and antelope. His pictures show the current conditions near Green River Lakes. The road is dry all the way in, but very rough. Trails at the lake are wet and muddy. Snow is still present at the upper elevations not too far up the trail.
