Sublette County Sheriff’s Office media release, Thursday, June 2, 2011:
On Wednesday, June 1st, at approximately 12:07 p.m., the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Wyoming Game & Fish dispatch that a game G=Warden had discovered a deceased male in the area of North Fisherman Creek. Sublette County deputies and investigators responded to the scene. The body was identified as 74-year old Daniel A. Maddox of Jackson, Wyoming. Investigators determined the cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to the family of Mr. Maddox.
