Splicing Telephone repair crews finished splicing a 400-pair cable on Thursday, June 2. The line was severed on Wednesday during digging near the WYDOT building in Pinedale and caused residents west of that location to lose phone service for about a day. Photo by Bob Rule, KPIN 101.1 FM Radio.

Telephone Service Disruption, Wednesday, June 1, 7:40PM: A major telephone cable was cut Wednesday evening in Pinedale near the WYDOT highway department building on US 191. Crews are working on repairs. Preliminary reports as of 6:50PM, are that phones are out west of the WYDOT building and it may be several hours before phone service is restored to this area. Updates are being broadcast on KPIN 101.1 FM Radio.
