RE: Special Election Night Results and Sublette County Canvassing Board.
In order to provide accurate and timely results, the County Clerk’s Office will be closed to the public at 7 p.m. We will be hand counting the ballots in the Courthouse, and expect that process to take several hours. The public is invited to gather in the Commissioners Meeting Room, located at the south end of the Courthouse, beginning at 7 p.m. The south entrance to the Commissioners Meeting Room will be open at 6:45 p.m. We will be releasing results when we have finished counting all ballots and will post the results to the Sublette County website, www.sublettewyo.com.
The Sublette County Canvassing Board will meet on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room. All election results are unofficial until the Canvassing Board has certified the election. The County Canvass Board will be Walt Bousman, representing the Republican Party, Ana Cuprill, representing the Democratic Party, and County Clerk Mary Lankford. This meeting is open to the public.
