Wolf advocates have filed an appeal in the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in attempt to have protections for wolves reinstated in the western states where such protections were recently removed. The groups contest an earlier court decision allowing a Congressional rider exempting the wolf delisting to be exempt from legal challenge.
