Jr. Wrangler Football and Cheer Team begins August 22nd

The Pinedale Aquatic Center will start the 2nd annual Jr. Wrangler Football season on August 22nd. Registration is currently open for students grades K-5th. Players will learn the fundamentals of football while developing their athletic skills and learning the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. The age divisions and practice times will be broken down as follows:
Kindergarten-2nd Grade – FLAG FOOTBALL
Practice: Monday & Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm; practices begin on Aug. 22nd and games will begin in Sept.
Cost: $45
3rd-5th Grade – JR. WRANGLER FOOTBALL (full gear-tackle)
Practice: Monday & Wednesday 5:30-7pm; practices begin on Aug. 22nd and games will begin in Sept.
Cost: $45, +$75 refundable equipment deposit (players are responsible for providing their own mouth guard, which is required)
Also beginning August 22nd is the inaugural season of Jr. Wrangler Cheer Team. The program is open to all students grades K-5th. Athletes practice Monday & Wednesday, 5:30-6:30pm, learning cheers, dance routines and making spirit posters. Designed to instill good sportsmanship and school spirit in our young athletes, the Jr. Wrangler Cheer program will work to build skills and confidence, discover talents, develop character, teach fairness and teamwork, and most importantly, to gain respect for themselves as well as the opponent through team spirit. The cheer team will support the Jr. Wrangler football teams during their home games.
Cost: $45, +$20 refundable equipment deposit for pom-poms
