Power outage August 1st affects 4,000 customers in Sublette County

A power outage Monday morning, August 1st, resulting in more than 4,000 Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) customers losing service for about an hour and a half between 9:30AM and 11:00AM. The outage impacted customers in Pinedale, Boulder, Cora, Daniel, and some customers north of Marbleton. The outage affected two substations, according to RMP spokesperson Dave Eskelson. The cause for the loss of transmission was not specified.
