As they approach Laramie, motorists will encounter occasional reduced speeds on I-80. The speed limit is lowered to 65 mph in both directions between mileposts 245 and 259. Crews are in the final paving stages of this project and it should be completed by late September.

For a short stretch at milepost 327, westbound lane traffic will be limited to the passing lane and a reduced speed of 40 mph. This accommodates bridge rehabilitation. The bridge at Round Top is also getting a makeover.
Travelers in both directions near milepost 358 will will have reduced speed limits between 65 and 40 mph and passing lane passage only.
As for other roads into Laramie: WYO 34 (Sybille Canyon) is undergoing reconstruction and has a gravel/dirt surface between milepost 22 and 28. Speeds will be posted at 30 mph throughout. No pilots cars or but minor delays could occur. On US 287 south of Laramie, speeds will be reduced to 45 mph near the bridge at milepost 415. Otherwise, the road will have unrestricted traffic flow on the weekend.
