The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office and Tip Top Search and Rescue are suspending a ground search in the Upper Hoback area for Paula McNeel, who was reported missing on August 27, 2011. Over the past seven days Tip Top Search and Rescue; in cooperation with family members, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, Sublette County Emergency Management, Wyoming K-9 Association, other dog search teams, and members of Teton County Search and Rescue, have conducted extensive ground and air searches with excellent response from team members and other volunteers. At this time, Tip Top Search and Rescue, along with the Sublette County Sheriff’s office have decided to pull back on efforts in conducting such an extensive search. However, searching will continue, as clues warrant.

Tip Top Search and Rescue would also like to inform all hunters, hikers, fishermen, and outfitters to be aware that searchers will be returning to the area as information is received. We would also welcome any information or solid clues that you might come across while in the area. Please contact the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office with any information at 307-367-4378.
