Wyoming wolf depredations continue

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service reports:
"On 9/2/11, wolves killed a calf on a public grazing allotment near Togwotee Pass. Control actions were completed on 9/5/11 after 2 wolves were radiocollared and 4 wolves were removed from the Lava Mtn. pack.
"On 9/2/11, Wyoming Wildlife Services confirmed one calf was killed by wolves on a public grazing allotment near the Prospect Mtns. Control actions were completed on 9/7/11 after 1 adult wolf was radiocollared on 9/4/11 and 2 wolves were removed.
"On 9/2/11, Wyoming Wildlife Services confirmed 2 lambs were killed by wolves on a public grazing allotment in the Greys River drainage. Two wolves have been reported in the area. Control actions are ongoing to remove both wolves.
"On 9/6/11, WGFD and Wildlife Services confirmed a yearling heifer killed by wolves on a public grazing allotment south of Pinedale. Control actions are ongoing.
"On 9/9/11, WGFD and Wildlife Services confirmed a 3-year old heifer killed by wolves on a public grazing allotment in the Gros Ventre River drainage. Wildlife Services also confirmed that wolves injured a calf on private property west of Cody."
