Honor Flight

Wyoming’s 6th and final Honor Flight to Washington D.C. was recently held.
Recently Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, Senator Mike Enzi, and Representative Cynthia Lummis joined Governor Matt Mead in welcoming Wyoming’s 6th and final Honor Flight to Washington D.C. The Honor Flight Wyoming program flies veterans free of charge to Washington DC to see their memorial.
Honor Flight Wyoming organization has provided over 600 Wyoming World War II veterans the opportunity to visit their memorial in Washington D.C. Thanks to the volunteers and successful fundraising efforts, the trip was free for the honored Wyoming veterans.
Veterans honored from Sublette County, Wyoming were: Robert Thompson, Pinedale Wayne Schwab, Pinedale Gordon Mickelson, Big Piney
