A power pole near Ehman Lane in Pinedale caught fire Tuesday afternoon, October 11th. As part of the repairs to the wooden pole later that evening, Rocky Mountain Power had to shut off power to all of Pinedale, Boulder, Cora, and Daniel for about an hour. No cause was given as to why or how the wooden pole caught fire.
