Long distance phone and some internet service for CenturyLink went down between 8-8:30AM on Sunday, October 23rd in Sublette County. Local calls were possible in Pinedale and Big Piney. Long-distance was out across the county. There were reports of long distance service also being out in Farson, Wyoming. Cell phone service appeared operational. Service was restored around 11:00AM. No cause has been given for Sunday’s outage. This was the second time in a week that CenturyLink telecommunication service has been out across the county for several hours.
