PINEDALE - Please join the Sublette County Library, at 155 S Tyler Ave in Pinedale, on Saturday, November 12th at 5:30 pm for "A Chili Night Out, Warm Up To History."
Warm up to history with a bowl of chili in front of the wood stove with Paul Jensen as he shares excerpts from his latest book, All in a Day's Ride, Life Along Horse Creek in the Wyoming Range, An Enduring Legacy in the main part of the library. Just as he did in his two earlier narrative histories, Hard and Noble Lives and The State of Equality in the Equality State, Paul Jensen once again brings history and its characters to life. His newest book focuses on Horse Creek, near Daniel, Wyoming. From the mountain men of the 1830s to the homesteaders of the twentieth century, Horse Creek served as a crossroads of Western exploration and expansion. These homesteaders beat the odds by surviving and succeeding, built their ranches and the surrounding communities.
Just in time for the holidays, books will be available for purchase the night of the event. For more information please visit the Library website http://sublettecountylibrary.org or call 307-367-4114.
