With only half the hoped for number of wolves harvested in the fall 2011 wolf hunt, Montana wildlife officials are considering extending the wolf hunt. Wolf quotas have been reached in the Missoula area, but most wolf hunt zones remain open. So far, 105 wolves have been killed, of the 220-wolf quota for the state.
