134 MPH gusts on Mount Coffin in the Wyoming Range by National Weather Service December 29, 2011 A pacific storm system brought strong to damaging wind across much of western and central Wyoming Wednesday night and today (Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011). The strongest wind recorded was 134 mph at 10,870 feet on Mount Coffin in the Wyoming Range in western Wyoming. A McDonalds sign was blown over in southwest Casper between 1030 and 11 am this morning.
