Sublette County Artists' Guild offers $500 scholarship

The members of the Sublette County Artists' Guild are offering a $500 scholarship available to university junior or senior students who are residents of Sublette County or graduates of Sublette County schools and are majoring in fine arts, communications, journalism, education, or humanities. A minimum 3.00 GPA is required. Applicants must submit a letter of application, a resume including achievements and goals, and a transcript of college grades. University sophomores may apply in the spring of 2012 for the fall 2012 semester of their junior year. Also, current juniors may apply for their senior fall semester.
The Artists' Guild is a non-profit group founded by a few ranch women almost a century ago. The members, now a maximum of 24, meet monthly to share examples of their writing and/or visual arts.
