Sublette County Prevention & High Country Behavioral Health (formerly Pine Creek Behavioral Health, A Division of High Country Behavioral Health) is sponsoring a free, 2-hour, educational class regarding the prevention of tobacco and alcohol use. The class is for Sublette County middle school students, high school students, adolescents ages 12-18, requiring/requesting education on tobacco and alcohol.

The class will be the second Thursday of every other month starting January 12, 2012 ( January 12th, March 8th, May 10th ) from 3:30 PM-5:30 PM in the BOCES, GED classroom in Pinedale. Participation in the entire class is required and classes start promptly at 3:30.

All participants are required to submit a letter of permission signed by a parent/guardian and to reserve a seat for the class. Participant must speak with Kay Ryan, kayr@hcbh.org, or Benita Gustafson, at benitag@hcbh.org, at 307-367-2111 to reserve a seat.

The class is being taught by Benita Gustafson, Sublette County Prevention & Kay Ryan, High Country Behavioral Health (Formerly known as Pine Creek Behavioral Health, A Division of High Country Behavioral Health).

This class is not intended as a substitute for an evaluation or treatment by a state-certified mental health provider. This is an educational class only.
