Winter Storm Watch for Pinedale area

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Storm Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon.
Snow and wind will begin Wednesday afternoon and continue through much of Thursday. The heaviest snow is expected to fall Wednesday night.
Mountain snowfall is anticipated to generally range from 8 to 16 inches. Snowfall of 6 to 9 inches is possible in Bondurant and Pinedale.
Westerly wind of 20 to 35 mph will be common in the mountains with visibility frequently below one-half mile. Wind speeds below 15 mph are anticipated in the valleys.
Travel may be significantly hampered along US Highway 189/191 over Rim divide between Bondurant and Pinedale, and over South Pass at the south end of the River Range.
