The University of Wyoming - Wyoming Law Review, will host a symposium March 6-7 in Laramie, Wyoming. The symposium topic will be ‘Energy, Extraction, Environment – Corporate Social Responsibility in the Extractive Industry’. The Symposium, hosted by the UW College of Law, will facilitate discussion about corporate social responsibility in the extractive industries by providing a balanced forum with representation of industry, government, nonprofit groups, public policymakers, and academia. It will be held in the UW Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie, Wyoming.
Call for Papers The Wyoming Law Review Board is soliciting papers for the 2012 Symposium. The Law Review Board is seeking papers on professional responsibility in the extraction industry. Please visit www.uwyo.edu/law for more information on paper topics, requirements and deadlines. Initial proposals are due by December 20, 2011.
