A shift in the weather pattern will come to the northern and central rockies by the middle of next week. A moist westerly flow will begin to bring snow to the northwest and western mountains of Wyoming. Some light snow early in the week will lead to a heavier and more persistent snow by mid week. In fact, there will likely be several periods of significant snowfall, especially above 7000 feet. Additionally, strong winds will accompany the snow next week.
