Pinedale FFA keeps busy

The Pinedale Future Farmers of American (FFA) chapter recently hosted two of the Wyoming state FFA officers, Tanner Nauta from Douglass FFA and Abbey Davidson from Encampment FFA. The officers came to administer the Wyoming state FFA degree test for seniors in the FFA program and to teach the newer members about what the program has to offer.
Once all the business was attended to, many of the Pinedale FFA members met up at the school to watch movies, play games, and go ice skating with the officers. The last day of their stay in Pinedale was also filled with fun, as the officers and members drove to White Pine to support the PHS Nordic ski team.
Also this month, the members of Pinedale FFA traveled to Denver, Colorado to attend the Denver Stock Show. While in Denver, the members saw show cattle, swine, and poultry, and were able to attend the PBR. On the way home, they also stopped at a world-famous aquarium, Oceans Journey, to learn about jobs at the facility and the different animals that call it home.
The Pinedale FFA chapter will continue to have a busy year with upcoming events including the IPSSSR sled dog race, and tailgating at Pinedale High School basketball games.
