The Sage and Snow Garden Club is hosting a Master Gardener course starting on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 6pm to 9pm at Sublette County Weed and Pest. Classes are open to all interested gardeners and are designed as beginner to intermediate yard and garden classes.

The eight-session course that will cover subjects including soils, fertility, plant growth and development, growing flowers and food in your garden, lawn care, irrigation, pest management, composting, and tree, shrub, and vine planting and care. The course is offered by the University of Wyoming extension office. Well respected UW horticulture specialists will travel to Pinedale to lead the sessions on the 4th Wednesday of every month from January to May as well as 1-2 training sessions on selected Saturday mornings. The $100.00 course fee covers the cost of the Wyoming Master Gardener Handbook, class instruction, hands on demonstrations, and handouts provided throughout the course.
