Wyoming Legislature considers ‘Doomsday’ bill February 26, 2012 The Casper Star-Tribune posted a story about Wyoming state representatives advancing House Bill 85, legislation to launch a study into what Wyoming should do in the event of a complete economic or political collapse in the United States. If passed, the bill would create a state-run government continuity task force which would study and prepare Wyoming for potential catastrophes, from disruptions in food and energy supplies to a complete meltdown of the federal government. The bill’s sponsor is state Rep. David Miller, R-Riverton. Click on this link for the full article: Wyoming House advances doomsday bill (By Jeremy Pelzer, Casper Star-Tribune, Feb. 24, 2012) |
