Pinedale Nordic Ski Grooming Report, April 3, 2012
April 3, 2012
(Tuesday, 8:00 AM report) Unless the weather changes, this is likely the last report of the season. Old Road Trail, Lower Surveyor, Surveyor, Tree Loop, Moose Ridge, Kelly Park and Kelly Park Tie-In were all groomed last evening. A few rocks are starting to show up on the trails – ski with caution. Skyline Drive road is dry. White Pine parking lot is soft. Skiing Fremont Lake is not recommended.
Dogs permitted only on the Old Road Trail, Lower Surveyor Park and Kelly Park trails. Skiers are asked to please pick up after your dog’s droppings.
County crews keep Skyline Drive road plowed to the White Pine Parking lot. No services at the lodge (White Pine is closed for the season), however there is a new Nordic Warming Hut with a vaulted restroom at the trailhead near the White Pine parking lot.
CCC Pond area trails are no longer groomed due to wildlife closures. Golf course trails have melted and are no longer available.
