Tentative Agenda:
5:30 - 5:40PM: Introductions and ground rules. Presenter/Facilitator: Woodbury
5:40 - 6:00PM: Information: Redistricting requirements, constraints, current efforts and process to date. Presenter/Facilitator: Harnack
6:00 6:40PM: Discussion: Short Term plan to move forward for this years election: Identify viable options. Presenter/Facilitator: Woodbury
6:40 6:50PM: Discussion: Long Term plan/formation of committee to evaluate redistricting options for 2014 elections. Next meeting. Presenter/Facilitator: Woodbury
6:50 7:00PM: Written comments on improving the process for redistricting. Presenter/Facilitator: Woodbury
Redistricting Discussion:
The focus group discussion of redistricting will be limited to the people who provided something in writing to the Board or spoke at the most recent Board meeting on the issue. However, this meeting can accommodate as many observers of the focus group as would like to attend. And, written comments will be collected from the observer group.
Long Tem Discussion:
As we look for a long term plan to recommend redistricting options to the Board, we can arrange open input from any and all that would like a voice on the issues that attend the meeting.
