Tire fire

Friday the 13th was not a good day for Doug Neely, when his controlled burn out on Ehman Lane northwest of Pinedale got out of control and flames spread to a stack of old tires, sending a pillar of black smoke into the air which could be seen for miles. Sublette County firefighters responded, and after several hours were able to keep the fire from spreading to additional structures and ultimately bring the blaze under control without significant damage to more property. No one was hurt.
