Wisconsin's wolf depredation oversight is shifting to the state Department of Natural Resources, and those impacted by wolf depredations may not be happy with the change. Payments for wolf depredations may only occur once a year, and may be pro-rated, so producers may not be fully compensated for their losses after all.
