Big Piney/Marbleton WIC Outreach Clinic moving to new location

The Wyoming Department of Health announced the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) outreach clinic that serves Big Piney and Marbleton is moving to a new location.
The new Big Piney and Marbleton WIC outreach office will be located in the Sublette County Pioneers Senior Center, 429 East First Street, in Marbleton. This location is next door to the local public health nursing office.
The WIC program helps low-income women, infants and children by providing nutritious foods, educating families on healthy eating and referring participants to other health and social services.
WIC participants specifically include pregnant women, post partum women, breastfeeding women, infants and children up to age five. WIC also serves homeless women and children under special regulations. For families to be eligible, income levels must be at or below 185 percent of the U.S. Poverty Income Guidelines. Income eligibility for a typical family of four is about $3,550 a month. Women and children who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, also known as Food Stamps), Wyoming Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF, also known as POWER) programs are automatically eligible for WIC.
Hours at the new Marbleton location are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The main clinic phone number in Jackson is 307-734-1060. WIC staff may also be contacted on the day of the outreach clinic at 307-276-3249 by asking for the WIC outreach clinic.
