On May 15th, Elizabeth Chambers, traveled to New York City with her brother, Oliver, and Mom to attend the Doodle 4 Google 2012 awards presentation.

The event was attended by the 50 state winners from around the US, and they were chosen from 114,000 entries. On-line voting determined the top five winners, and the Google staff selected the top winner from those five. Although Elizabeth was not selected, she had a tremendous experience with the Google staff and at the unveiling at the New York Public Library.

While there, the trio took time to visit the Metropolitan Museum, the top of the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the FAO Schwartz toy store, and of course, travel in a New York City cab!
