Judge dismisses Complaint for Declaratory Judgment
In 5 to 3 Commissioner lawsuit against Sublette County
by Pinedale Online!
July 24, 2012

District Court Judge Dennis Sanderson ruled in favor of Sublette County Clerk, Mary Lankford, and dismissed a Complaint for Declaratory Judgment by Paul Rock, Dari Quirk, and Ernie Kawa requesting the court issue a proclamation that there be two additional county commissioner offices to be filled in the 2012 general election, raising the total number of commissioner seats from three to five.

The judge ruled that the County Clerk was complying with Wyoming Statute and the latest votes of the citizens of Sublette County when it reduced the number of commissioners from 5 to 3 in the May 8, 2012 Special Election.
