Dave Bell enjoyed a wonderful day hiking in the Upper Cottonwood Creek area on Saturday, August 18th. "I first visited this gorgeous area early this spring and wanted to ensure a return visit this year. I was stunned at how dry it is up top. Also, it is amazing what a circular polarizing filter will do to "cut through" the smoke. As usual great scenery, but the smoke made for some labored breathing."
