Food Basket begins monthly distributions in October

The Pinedale Community Food Basket will begin its monthly distributions in October. We serve Pinedale area families and individuals in need of food with staples, meat, eggs, milk, bread, and produce. We ask that folks sign-up in advance of the distribution so that we can purchase sufficient food. We base our qualification on the USDA standards for the free and reduced lunch program. However, since we do not receive government funding, we can make adjustments for unusual circumstances such as high medical bills.
Sign-up is Wednesday, September 19th from 11-2 pm and 5-7 pm at the Food Basket, 104 N Bridger St. You will need a photo ID, proof of residence, and a current pay stub or a 2011 tax form. If you know someone who needs food, please let them know of this event. We have plenty of food because of our generous community.
