Wolf hunters have been successful in several states, with 34 wolves harvested so far in Wyoming’s trophy game hunting areas (of a total quota of 52), and an additional 18 wolves taken in the state’s predator zone (where there are no quotas), as of Monday, November 26, 2012 at 9 a.m., according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

Wisconsin hunters have harvested 95 wolves of the state’s quota of 116.

Minnesota hunters have killed 147 wolves (53 fewer than the quota) but the trapping season is set to begin.
