Deer meets Cat This young cat purposely went out to greet a young mule deer buck who wandered by a building the ranch cats use for shelter.

The ranch kitties had a friendly visitor on Saturday morning. A young buck mule deer wandered by to munch on grass and weeds near their shelter building. One of the younger cats went out to see who was there and the buck responded with curiosity. At one point, the buck bent his head down and gently went nose to nose with the brave kitten. After that introduction, several of the other kitties joined in and they all spent about ten minutes checking each other out with none showing any aggression or fear at all towards the other.
