Saturday, 8:30AM report: It’s snowing! There are a couple of inches of new snow from overnight and more is accumulating. All trails freshly groomed this morning. No classic track on Old Road Trail, Kelly Tie-In or Kelly Park – groomed flat. The road is freshly plowed, snow-packed, and may be icy in some spots. The parking lot at White Pine is plowed and snow-packed. There is lots of wildlife (deer and moose) around in the area. A young bull moose was spotted near the trail at North Surveyor and there are deer all over at Kelly Park. If you bring dogs, make sure they are under your control at all times and don’t let them chase wildlife. Please keep dogs off Upper Surveyor Park, but they are welcome in Lower Surveyor. Please pick up after your dogs. CCC Pond trails will be groomed when they get a bit more snow.
