South Pass Weather Advisory, Tuesday, Dec. 11, 6:23PM: National Weather Service advises strong southwest winds will continue through the night. Visibility will occasionally be reduced in falling and blowing snow. Drifting snow will also make travel difficult over South Pass. No light trailer traffic advised due to wind speeds above 50 mph across South Pass. These winds may cause loss of vehicle control or a blow over to high profile vehicles traveling empty or with a light load. Drivers of such vehicles are advised to delay travel.
