Nordic ski grooming report – Jan. 13, 2013
January 13, 2013
Report courtesy of Mike Looney, Nordic Trail Groomer
Sunday, January 13: Dusting of snow overnight. The CCC trails are flat groomed – no Classic – very little snow. The Golf Course trail has Classic track in, however there is grass in the bottom of the track in several places. No dogs allowed on the Golf Course. Upper Trails north of the White Pine parking lot are for skiing only (no dogs, foot traffic, snowshoes, motorized vehicles). Dogs ok on the CCC Ponds and trails south of the White Pine parking lot (please either pitch your pet’s droppings off the trail or bring a bag and take droppings home with you to discard properly). Southern trails below the White Pine parking lot can have snowshoes and foot traffic. No motorized vehicles on any of the ski trails. The road going in is plowed, but may be slippery with limited visibility in places – use caution. Dress warm! Food services available at White Pine lodge.
Funding for Nordic trail grooming is provided by the Sublette County Recreation Board, through the Sublette County Commissioners.
