WLCI meeting in Pinedale Feb. 14
January 25, 2013
The Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative (WLCI) will host a series of Local Project Development Team (LPDT) meetings throughout southwest Wyoming in February.
The meetings provide local landowners, partners, and the public an opportunity to inform the WLCI Coordination Team about projects for which the WLCI may provide funding. Partners are also encouraged to make presentations to the Coordination Team on the progress of on-going projects.
The WLCI is a long-term, science-based effort to assess and enhance aquatic and terrestrial habitats at a landscape scale in southwest Wyoming, while facilitating responsible development of the region’s valuable energy resources. The WLCI Executive Committee is comprised of representatives from the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Geological Survey, Wyoming Department of Agriculture, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, conservation districts, and county commissioners.
