Below are spring events for MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship. M.E.S.A. Therapeutic Horsemanship, Inc. is a non-profit program aimed at providing equine-related therapy activities to individuals with disabilities within Sublette County, Wyoming. The mission of M.E.S.A. is to promote self-esteem, self-confidence, physical independence, and social interaction through equine-related activities. Each individual is evaluated by a physician and certified instructor before being accepted into the program to ensure the safety of the participant. Currently: Taking registrations for MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship Riding Lessons for Youth age 4-19 with physical, cognitive, or emotional disability eligible to participate.
March 8th: MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship Volunteer Training 1 p.m. Sullivan's Arena, Boulder.
March 11th: MESA Winter Camp Begins - Mondays & Wednesdays in Pinedale 4-6 p.m. Sullivan's Arena. Tuesday's & Thursdays in Big Piney 4-6 p.m. Sublette County Fairgrounds.
April 5th: MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship Volunteer Training 4 p.m. Sullivan's Arena, Boulder.
April 10th: MESA Spring Riding Lessons begin (6 weeks) Wednesdays in Pinedale, Thursdays in Big Piney.
May 10th: MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship Volunteer Training 1 p.m. Sullivan's Arena, Boulder.
June 6th: MESA Therapeutic Horsemanship Volunteer Training 5:30 p.m. Pinedale Rodeo Grounds.
June 10th: MESA Summer Riding Lessons Begin (6 weeks) Mondays in Big Piney, Tuesdays in Pinedale.
June 14th: MESA Horse Show & Art Show & Community Picnic 3:00 p.m. at the Sublette County Fairgrounds, Big Piney.
August 12: MESA's August Fun Camp begins
August 24: MESA Poker Ride & Barbecue – TBD
