Wyoming wolf count nears completion

The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that state wildlife officials are wrapping up their wolf population count, with the population expected to exceed the state's population goals.

The preliminary estimate is that the state has at least 170 wolves in 15 breeding pairs.
