Anyone interested in attending the free National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) class offered through Sublette BOCES can still get in. This is a series of 12 classes structured to help caregivers understand and support individuals with serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. This course is taught by Connie Berry & Ann Stowe, trained NAMI family member volunteers who know what it is like to have a loved one struggling with one of these brain disorders. Classes are from 6-8:30PM on Mondays through May 20th. Classes started on March 4th. Class is free, for family members, partners, and significant others dealing with loved ones with mental illness.
