2013 Wyoming State History Day Ashley Brewer (left) and Jonita Sommers (right)

Ashley Brewer, a sixth grade student at Big Piney Middle School, attended State History Day with her coach, Jonita Sommers, on April 14-15, 2013 at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Ashley won the special award, Fred and Flossie Graves Homestead Award (sponsored by Gladys Graves Hill,) for her junior individual documentary, Manifest Destiny: Perspectives of the Jensen and Sommers Families Homesteading in Wyoming.
