Wyoming Supreme Court affirms Travis Kovach convictions

The Wyoming Supreme Court affirmed the convictions of Travis Kovach. The court found no prosecutorial misconduct and no constitutional violations of Mr. Kovach’s rights.
Kovach, of Daniel, was convicted by a Sublette County jury in January, 2012 for the felonious assault and batteries and other charges after he confronted two Kansas hunters after a minor traffic accident in October, 2010. Kovach was convicted of hitting brothers Jess and Richard Ribelin with his gun and their fencing pliers, threatening, knocking down and taking them to his hunting camp after the Ribelins’ truck and the SUV he was in swiped mirrors on a narrow dirt road near La Barge Creek.
