1st Annual ‘Lazy Sunday’ Fest in Pinedale July 7
Leo Rondeau, Lonesome Heroes to play
by Boxcar Arts release
July 3, 2013
Boxcar Arts and Co-Zy Décor are proud to present the first annual "Lazy Sunday" concert in American Legion Park on Sunday, July 7 beginning at 5 pm. The free concert will feature live performances by Leo Rondeau of Austin, TX and The Lonesome Heroes also from Austin, TX. The idea behind "Lazy Sunday" is to offer Pinedale locals and tourists a casual afternoon and evening of music in the park as an early "unofficial" kick off to Rendezvous week.
Headliner Leo Rondeau’s songs reveal interesting characters in both mundane as well as extraordinary circumstances. This, coupled with his catchy melodies, earned him a Songwriter of the Year nomination from the Academy of Texas Music for his record, "Down at the End of the Bar."
The Lonesome Heroes are no strangers to Pinedale and have been performing their unique blend of reverb soaked psychedelic country music for years.
Organizers of Lazy Sunday encourage everyone to come on down, do some dancing, do some lounging. Please bring a cooler full of your favorite drinks and snacks.
The free event is presented jointly by Boxcar Arts, a graphic and web design company based in Pinedale and CO-ZY Décor, gift shop boutique in Pinedale. Additional support is provided by Chris & Roy and the Pinedale Fine Arts Council.
