Several photographers have sent in pictures of the wildfires in the Upper Green. There are currently three fires burning, the Packer Fire, the Kendall Fire and the Green Fire. Rita Donham got some great shots of the fires from her plane vantage point at 13,800 feet on Sunday, August 11th. Dave Bell took photos of a Fire Boss plane getting water refills from Fremont Lake on Tuesday morning, August 20th. In the afternoon on Tuesday, August 20th, the plane switched over to getting water from Half Moon Lake. The guests and staff at Half Moon Lake Lodge had a front row seat to the action, photos sent in by owner Kristi Dixon.
