Parent and Scout Night Aug. 28

August 21, 2013
Cub Scout Pack 18 will be holding a Parent and Scout Night on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 7:00PM at the Pinedale Town park (the Fishing Pond at Boyd Skinner Memorial Park).
The purpose of the gathering will be to introduce boys and parents to the adult den leaders, to discuss the coming year’s activities, to introduce new parents to Cub Scouting and to seek volunteer support for the boys. During the gathering there will be presentations made by the Wolves, Bears, and Weblos Den Leaders as well as the Committee Chair. Parents and scouts will receive information regarding weekly and monthly meetings and activity schedules, and will be provided opportunities to sign-up. The meeting should last about one and one-half hours. Parents should bring a pen and paper to take notes.
There is no cost to sign-up, and all supplies are provided, except for the uniform which boys will need to acquire on their own. Supporting the growth and development of our communities’ boys is a responsibility and opportunity we all share. The Cub Scouting is for boys ages 8 to 11-years-old.
