Pinedale Hockey hosts season kick-off

The Pinedale Hockey Association (PHA) held their first annual 'Puck Drop Picnic' on Thursday, August 22nd at the American Legion Park in Pinedale. Approximately 75 participants from Sublette County took part in the 2013-2014 Pinedale Glacier Hockey season kick-off. Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and cookies were served to current as well as would-be hockey enthusiasts. Many of the younger attendees participated in some fun and games including a rough mini-hockey game.
PHA strives to promote the growth of ice hockey at all age levels and abilities in Sublette County and provide an opportunity for recreational level hockey competition for kids ages 5 through 17 as well as Co-ed Adult and Men's Teams. PHA is affiliated with USA Hockey, the national governing body for the sport of ice hockey in the United States.
