Emergency Preparedness workshop Nov. 21
Learn how to prepare in advance in the event of a natural disaster or emergency
November 7, 2013
Everyone is invited to a community education workshop on Emergency Preparedness at 6:30PM in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library. The Church of the Resurrection in Pinedale has invited experts from FEMA and the American Red Cross for an educational talk on how to prepare in advance in the event of a natural disaster or emergency. Meet with Jim Mitchell, Sublette County Emergency Management Coordinator, to hear suggestions on what citizens can do to be better prepared. Know what plans are in place in case of a general emergency and learn about options for buying bulk long-storage food together.
If a winter storm or other disaster strikes your community, you might not have access to food, water, electricity or gas for days or even weeks. Are you ready and prepared? By taking some time now to store emergency food, water and other supplies, you can provide for your entire family. Everyone welcome and encouraged to attend.
